Im NOT a doctor nor scientist but something about this case baffles me. The Yale dr says theres no way that the Flu could cause her accent 2 change…When I was a teenager & studying 2 become a researcher I remember reading about a few cases of brain damage that causes a significant change in the way words r pronunciated. Not saying that the Drs r wrong but lets look further.

I watched a show about her last night. I believe she really is sick and people shouldn’t make fun of her. Some say that it might just be a major placebo effect. She was sick when she got the flu shot and so her mind started thinking it should be sicker, and so she was. She can’t simply think herself out of it because no matter what, that little corner of her head says: “What if it’s true?” Which is something you should consider, it LOOKS like a hoax. But you shouldn’t decide. Your not pros.
